Why does the app ask to become the default launcher?
The launcher home, app drawer, widgets, and wallpaper tools depend on Android launcher behavior. If you do not set the app as the default launcher, some launcher functions may be limited.
Why does the app request location access?
Android may require location permission for Wi-Fi scanning, nearby network discovery, and map-related Wi-Fi features. If permission is denied, related functions may not work as expected.
Why does the app request display over other apps permission?
This permission is used for the floating window feature. If you do not enable it, the floating network status window cannot appear above other apps.
Does the app include ads?
Yes. Some screens and feature flows may include advertising placements. Please review the Privacy Policy for more information about third-party services and advertising providers.

Why does the app ask to become the default launcher?
Files Clean offers an optional launcher home with built-in wallpapers, widgets, and an app drawer. If you do not set it as the default launcher, the cleaning, device info, file browser, and floating sweep features still work, but the launcher home experience will not be available.
Why does the app request All files access permission?
All files access is required to scan junk files across your device and to browse files in the built-in file browser. Without this permission the junk sweep and file browser features cannot display real data.
Why does the app request display over other apps permission?
This permission powers the floating quick-sweep ball, which lets you trigger a junk sweep from above any app screen. If you do not enable it, the floating ball will not appear.
Why does the app request usage access permission?
Usage access is required to show recent app launches, foreground time, and background time inside the Recent Apps view. Without this permission the Recent Apps feature will display an empty state.
Does the app include ads?
Yes. Files Clean is supported by in-app advertising, including banner, native, and interstitial ads. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Please review the Privacy Policy for information about third-party advertising providers.
